F.A.Q's
What is a Guided Meditation?
A guided meditation is a simple practice where you’re gently led through relaxation, breathing, or visualization. Instead of trying to quiet your mind on your own, you follow a calming voice that helps you settle, focus, and unwind.

Guided meditations can reduce stress, improve sleep, increase clarity, and help you reconnect with yourself — even in just a few minutes. They’re perfect for beginners and experienced meditators alike. It’s less about “doing it right” and more about giving yourself space to breathe, soften, and return to center.
What are the benefits of Guided Meditation?
Guided meditation helps quiet the mind, relax the body, and create a sense of inner steadiness. Some common benefits include:
-
Reduced stress and anxiety
-
Better focus and mental clarity
-
Improved sleep
-
Emotional balance
-
A stronger connection to your inner wisdom
If you’re new, even a few minutes can make a difference. You can try a short meditation here.

Is Reiki safe?
Yes, Reiki is a gentle non-intrusive technique that is safe for everyone, young and old.

What does a treatment feel like?
A Reiki session can be done in person or virtually. In person, you’ll lie comfortably on a massage table with a light blanket, and the practitioner will place their hands lightly on the body or hover a few inches above it — whatever you prefer.
Most people describe the session as a gentle, warm, calming flow of energy. You may feel:
• warmth or tingling
• deep relaxation
• emotional release
• a sense of peace or clarity
• or sometimes, simply stillness

Every experience is unique, and there’s no “right” way to feel. Reiki meets you where you are, supporting balance, healing, and wellbeing on all levels — body, mind, and spirit.
What is distance Reiki?
Distance Reiki occurs when the practitioner and client are in different locations. For example, a client can be in the comfort of their own home and still experience the benefits of Reiki. This is also beneficial if the client prefers to work with a Reiki practitioner who lives in a different city or country. Distance Reiki can occur via the computer, phone or by having the practitioner and client focus their energies at a scheduled time while in separate locations.
"One of the basic teachings of Reiki is that we are more than just our physical bodies. We also have an energy body made up of an aura (energy fields), chakras (energy centers) and meridians (energy pathways)", so the fullness of who we are is not limited to this physical space and time model that we are taught as children.
Here is some of the feedback we've received:
-
200 miles away ~ "Wow! Words can’t describe how brilliant an experience this was. So pleasantly surprised that reiki can translate virtually. Highly recommend this experience thank you."
-
380 miles away ~ "I truly enjoyed this healing energy."
-
2200 miles away ~ "This was the first time I have partaken in (distance) Reiki and it was great!"
-
4000 miles away ~ "The idea of remote Reiki is odd but the more I join this (session) the more I feel calm and positive. After this last session I slept better than I have in months."

Are virtual Reiki and distance Reiki the same thing?
Virtual Reiki and distance reiki are basically the same thing, although virtual Reiki means that a session will occur using digital technology via Zoom or another platform. Distance Reiki just means that that a session is not in person.
Does Reiki work on everyone?
Yes, Reiki works on everyone, including plants and animals. In fact, it's very typical for dogs and cats to lay nearby while a session is taking place. When offering to a person, the recipient needs to give the practitioner permission to send the energy. Above all else, the client needs to keep an open mind about the experience. Although, just like life itself, Reiki works using the laws of attraction and intention. This means if you believe nothing will happen, then that is what you'll experience. On the other hand, if you're open to the experience, the possibilities are endless.
Is Reiki a religion?
No, Reiki is not a religion and is not affiliated with any specific dogma or belief system other than we all share the same Universal life energy which is the source for all healing. So regardless of age, gender, race, culture, sexual orientation (and on and on), we all have the ability to be the channel to heal others.
Can anyone learn Reiki?
Yes, anyone can learn Reiki, you only need a desire to learn and an open mind. Reiki is taught to people of all ages, from children to the elderly.
How can I learn Reiki?
Reiki is taught in an informal class setting and is an amazingly simple technique to learn. Reiki classes are typically a combination of text learning and "attunements" which are passed on by the Reiki Master. These attunements give the student the ability to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" which improves one's health and enhances the quality of life. Reiki is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone.

There are several levels of training and practical experience that are required to become a Reiki Master. Each level provides a stronger attunement and/or ignition to Reiki energy. Every level is a prerequisite to the previous level. A minimum of 6 months of practical experience is required before taking the Master level course
-
Level 1 - Provides the ability to do self Reiki and on others
-
Level 2 - Provides the ability to do distance Reiki
-
Level 3 - This is the first Master Level and gives the ability to teach Reiki
